Terms and Conditions
The short version: read the site freely, don't steal our work, don't treat anything here as financial advice, and understand that crypto markets can take your money no matter what you read first.
The longer version is below, and we've kept it as short as we can without leaving gaps.

Techiarena (techiarena.com) is published by Ali Sher, registered at New York, USA. These terms cover the website, the newsletter, our RSS feed, and any event or service that links to this page — together, the "Services."
By using the Services, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.
You must be at least 16 to use the Services. They're written for adults thinking about markets and technology.
This is the most important section on the page, so it isn't buried at the bottom.
Techiarena is a publication. We are not a financial adviser, broker, dealer, exchange, custodian, fund manager or investment firm, and nothing we publish is financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice.
Everything on this site is general information and journalism, not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
Nothing here is an offer, solicitation or endorsement of any token, security, protocol, product or service, and coverage is never an endorsement.
Price forecasts, whether ours or a source's, are opinions about an unknowable future, not predictions you can rely on.
Crypto assets are volatile and largely unregulated. You can lose everything you put in. Past performance tells you nothing about future results.
Regulation differs enormously between countries. Something legal where we publish may be illegal where you live, and that is your responsibility to check.
Do your own research and take professional advice from someone licensed in your jurisdiction before you invest. Any decision you make after reading Techiarena is yours alone.
Everything we publish articles, research, analysis, photographs, charts, graphics, the Techiarena name and logo, and the design and code of the site belongs to us or to the people who licensed it to us, and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may, without asking:
Read, print and share our work for personal, non-commercial use
Quote a short extract with clear attribution to Techiarena and a link to the original article
Link to us from anywhere, including in commercial contexts
Use our RSS feed as intended, including headlines and summaries with links back
You may not, without written permission:
Republish an article in full or in substantial part, anywhere, in any language
Use our content in a commercial product, newsletter, aggregator or paid service
Remove or obscure bylines, credits, timestamps or attribution
Present our work as your own, or as though we endorse you or your project
Use the Techiarena name or logo in a way that suggests a partnership, sponsorship or endorsement we haven't agreed to
For syndication, licensing or republication, write to contact@techiarena.com. We're usually happy to say yes.
We do not permit the use of Techiarena content to train, fine-tune or ground artificial intelligence or machine learning models, or to build datasets for that purpose, without a written licence from us. This applies to commercial and non-commercial systems alike, and it applies whether the content is taken directly, through our RSS feed, or through a third-party scraper or dataset.
We also don't permit automated scraping, crawling or bulk downloading of the site beyond what our robots.txt allows, and we may block or rate-limit systems that ignore it.
If you want to license our archive for AI or research use, email contact@techiarena.com. We'd rather have the conversation than find out later.
This covers news tips, story pitches, founder submissions, event listings, guest articles, images and anything else you send us.
You keep ownership of what you send. By sending it, you grant Techiarena a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to publish, edit, adapt, translate, archive and distribute it across our site, newsletter, feeds and social channels, and to allow others to quote it as they would any published journalism.
You confirm that:
You own it, or have the rights to send it and to grant us that licence
It's accurate to the best of your knowledge
It doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trade marks, privacy or confidentiality
It isn't defamatory, and isn't being sent to manipulate a market or a price
If you have a financial interest in what you're sending, you hold the token, you're invested in the company, you're being paid to place it, you have told us. See our Editorial Policy
We're under no obligation to publish anything, we may edit what we do publish, and we don't pay for unsolicited submissions unless we've agreed that in writing beforehand. We can't promise to keep submissions confidential unless we've explicitly agreed to see Privacy Policy section 06 before sending anything sensitive.
Don't use the Services to:
Break the law, or help anyone else break it
Impersonate Techiarena, our staff or our contributors, including on social media, in DMs, or through lookalike domains
Promote a scam, a fraud, a pump, or a token you're paid to shill
Scrape, mirror, or systematically harvest the site (see 04)
Attack the site malware, denial of service, attempts to bypass security, probe for vulnerabilities, or access anything you're not meant to
Harass, threaten or defame anyone, including our journalists and the people we write about
Interfere with how the Services work for anyone else
We may restrict or block access for anyone who does. If you find a security vulnerability, please report it to contact@techiarena.com rather than exploiting it we'll credit you if you'd like.
We link to exchanges, protocols, filings, research and social posts, and we embed content such as X posts, videos and charts. Those are other people's services.
A link is not an endorsement. We don't control what's on the other end, we don't vet it on an ongoing basis, and we're not responsible for it, for their terms, for their privacy practices, or for anything that happens to you there. Check before you connect a wallet or send money to anything you reached from our site.
We work hard to get things right, and our Editorial Policy and Fact-Check Policy set out how. But reporting is produced at speed, prices and on-chain data change by the second, and third parties give us information we can't always independently confirm.
We don't warrant that everything on the site is accurate, complete or current, and content reflects the position at the time of publication unless an update says otherwise.
Spotted an error? Email contact@techiarena.com and we'll correct it under our corrections process. That's a faster and better remedy than a legal letter, and we take it seriously.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.
We don't promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses, or that defects will be fixed.
Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that can't lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Techiarena and its owners, staff and contributors are not liable for:
Any trading, investment or financial loss arising from anything you read here, however that loss occurred
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages
Lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill
Anything done by a third party we linked to or embedded
Interruptions, downtime or errors in the Services
Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Services is limited to [USD 100] or the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
If your use of the Services, your breach of these terms, or something you send us causes a claim against us from someone else, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs in dealing with it. We'll tell you promptly if that happens and give you a fair chance to deal with it.
We may change, suspend, restructure or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, including archived content, without notice or liability. We try to keep URLs alive because link rot is bad for journalism, but we can't guarantee any page will remain at any address forever.
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of the country where they live where the law gives them that right.
Before anything formal, please email us. Most disputes about accuracy or attribution are resolved in a day by people talking to each other.
Fill in the jurisdiction where your entity is registered. Don't copy another publisher's choice — CoinDesk sends disputes to New York arbitration with a class action waiver because it's a US company; that clause is unenforceable in several other countries and could invalidate the section. Ask a local lawyer what belongs here.
We may update these terms as the site and the law change. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and we'll flag material changes on the site. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept it.
